REALTOR®
Application
- Primary REALTOR® MembershipYou pay National, State and Local dues to your Primary Association annually. As your Primary Association, we make sure the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) and the Oregon REALTORS® receive those dues on your behalf. As your Primary Association, we also make sure you complete a Code of Ethics course every 3 years. Failure to remain in compliance by taking a REALTOR® Code of Ethics Course every 3 years can lead to inactivation of your NRDS number. As per NAR, in order to access the RMLS you will need to be at least a Primary member of a REALTOR® Association, and pass a REALTOR® Code of Ethics Course every 3 years in order to access the RMLS.
- Secondary REALTOR® MembershipIf you apply for Secondary Membership with us, it means that you are already a member of and pay another Primary Association National, State and their Local dues. You pay us only our local dues amount when you are a Secondary Member. Your Primary Association is responsible for making sure you are in compliance and take a REALTOR® Code of Ethics Course every 3 years.
- Appraisers REALTOR® MembershipAs per NAR in order to access the RMLS as an appraiser you will need to become at least a Primary member of a REALTOR® Association, pass a REALTOR® Code of Ethics Course, and pass this course every 3 years in order to remain in compliance and continue to receive access to the RMLS. Appraisers who are Primary members pay National, State and Local dues just like Primary REALTORS® do.
Affiliate Partner Application
- Primary Affiliate MembershipYou pay Local dues to your Primary Association annually. As your Primary Association we make sure you have signed our Affiliate Partner Code of Conduct. Failure to remain in compliance with your Affiliate Partner Code of Conduct can lead to inactivation of your NRDS number. Any RPAC investment you make outside of an RPAC event you are attending with another association will be credit to us as your Primary association.
- Secondary Affiliate Partner MembershipIf you apply for Secondary Membership with us, it means that you are already a member of and pay another Primary Association dues and you intend to pay dues to our association as well in the secondary position.
REALTOR® Office Application
- Primary Office MembershipYour office is in the Primary position with us compared to other association memberships you have and your Principal Broker or Designated Realtor®, Designated Affiliate or Designated Appraiser is also our Primary member and pay dues annually. Your members located under your Office NRDS number may either be Primary or Secondary Members with us.
- Secondary Office MembershipYour office is in the Secondary position with us compared to other association memberships you have including Primary membership with another association and your Principal Broker or Designated Realtor®, Designated Affiliate or Designated Appraiser is Primary with another association.
- Important NoteYour office Principal Broker or Designated Realtor®, Designated Affiliate or Designated Appraiser need not be a dues paying member of our association in either the Primary or Secondary position IF you have only a Secondary member or members that are Active with us. The moment your Secondary members become Primary members, your Principal Broker or Designated Realtor®, Designated Affiliate or Designated Appraiser will be invoiced for dues accordingly and a Secondary membership to establish a Secondary member will be initiated. If any of your members under your Office NRDS number are Primary members then your Principal Broker must at least be a Secondary member of Springfield REALTORS®
