Fair Housing & Diversity
Fair Housing & Diversity is dedicated to promoting equal housing opportunities and fostering inclusive communities where everyone is treated with dignity, fairness and respect. We provide education, resources and advocacy to help individual housing providers and communities understand their rights and responsibilities under fair housing laws. By embracing diversity and working to eliminate discrimination, we strive to create welcoming environments where people of all backgrounds have equal access to safe, affordable and quality housing.
During the summer of 2024 several of your colleagues proposed the formation of a Diversity Committee within Springfield REALTORS® governance structure and your Board of Directors agreed. Now renamed the Fair Housing & Diversity Committee, we have developed Mission and Vision Statements and updated our Commitment to Diversity.

Springfield REALTORS® are dedicated to promoting and ensuring fair housing opportunities for all. We will educate and empower our members to honor diversity and inclusion. We will strive to build strong community with mutual respect and positive collaboration to best serve the diverse needs of our clients.
Vision
Springfield REALTORS® Diversity Committee is committed to fostering an inclusive and accessible real estate industry that reflects the diverse and ever changing tapestry of our community. We recognize that each individual is unique and brings a valuable perspective that enriches our shared work. Through education and awareness, we aim to break down barriers, promote fair housing, and ensure all members and clients feel respected, valued, and genuinely served.
